The American Trauma Society has designated “Distracted Driving” the theme for this year’s Trauma Awareness Month. This means do not use cell phones or text while behind the wheel. Here are 5 tips to help you stay focused while driving:
- Use your cell phone for emergency situations only.
- Do your multi-tasking outside of the car.
- Teens should limit the number of passengers as well as the level of activity inside the car.
- Avoid eating while driving.
